I loved this video because it makes me think about how cool God is, but I have seen this video several times, and I just don't understand science.

I saw one of these at a flea market last week. It looked like new ,and it was in a leather case. It brought to mind that when I was small stuff seemed rather important, and although people didn't have a lot of things they generally took care of , and valued what they did have. I think that we have so much stuff today that they loose their value to us. It's kinda like a Thanksgiving meal. We are all too full to really care that there is Pecan pie left to eat, and the pie loses it's appeal. You know why I was at the flea market don't you, and what I was really looking for right? I found some, but they were in bad shape. Maybe next time.

I keep thinking about getting a cow, but the kids (and my financial adviser who also happens to be my blog administrator, my counselor, and my tour guide, oh, and I forgot he's also my athletic director.) would fall in love with it. Our rabbits were at one time my favorite of all of our pets. Although I couldn't eat anything that I loved. We could eat Sarah's devil dog "Oscar" first if we had to , but only in a pinch cause Sarah loves the little beast , but we wont eat the cats. They go last or maybe they would go after my blog administrator, cause he gets on my nerves.
*Disclaimer, I would never actually eat my blog administrator. Not even under the worst of conditions. Besides he's probably tough ,and chewy, and I doubt that he has much flavor ;)

*I was concerned for the safety of the small child in the back seat. One fine bump in the car could have landed him on his head backwards onto the pavement. No worries though the children in this film were "tester" children. The real prince Olav died on the 17th of January 1991 at age 87

My blogger friend said that he had a dream about little people. Gosh it's weird , but I had that same dream !!

Lucky for my three blog readers that I was able to post it! Little people can be so mistreated - by other little people. :(

I wanted to stay home , and clean the house for spring break, but no one else wanted to do that.

Paul wanted to see the "Titanic" attraction in Branson Missouri , but it was
$18.82 per adult ,and $9.99 per child,
and I said , "Paul the actual people , and things are on the bottom of the ocean , so what could they possibly have to see ?
It might be different if one of the actual people were there speaking.

Next we considered seeing "The acrobats of China" , but the admissions woman said that the tickets would cost $187.00 for all of us, and I said to Paul for $187.00 I could actually go to China. (I 'm a very frugal woman.)

So we settled for putt- putt golf , and some air hockey, then we all watched cable TV till 10:00 which drives Paul crazy. He hates TV, but it was CABLE TV !!
(We don't have cable TV in Kansas, at least not at our house.)

The next day we went to Silver dollar city , and we missed another acrobat of China group, and Ana said , "well they were the "Off Brand acrobats anyway", I said, "Ana they were real acrobats of China too." It's not like they were a group of Mexican tumblers pretending to be Chinese.

Branson - It's a place here you can be missing your entire top row of teeth , and still find gainful employment in the entertainment industry.Peek if you must.

Branson - A place where you can meet Elvis at the Walmart mall ,or maybe Neil Diamond!
They also have too many tattoo parlors to choose from, and you can also have your palms read.
You could see those nice Osmond boys (grandpa's now), or Andy Williams , but if you have a hanker'in to see Mr. Williams - you had better hurry. ( he's about 110 years old)
Branson has at least 5 museums, and about a zillion restaurants.
Lastly the Yakov theater is across from circuit city , and Kohls..... only in Branson.

Answer - What is "Jeopardy"?

I love Jeopardy, and I admire intelligent people. My friends are all smarter than I am , and I always look forward to learning new ideas from them. I love people that can rattle off random facts. I have a brother in law that I find entirely delightful. He's like a walking google.

I watched 20 minutes of Jeopardy the other day, and I only got two questions correct!!
I also like watching highly intelligent people um..... fail. They take it kinda hard too which is amusing. I also like to watch them gloat when they win , or when they beat out the other contestants.


This man on the far right faints, and they don't stop the show ! They work around him. Their compassion is touching.


Yikes ! Ken is a nice Mormon boy too.


This poor guy on the right lost ten thousand dollars ,and he gets to go to hell too. Awww.

I wonder if that's legal in the State of Kansas? I don't remember reading anything about it in the drivers manual.
Here are "The Spinners" ,and they're singing I keep working my way back to you babe. The song made me think about how many times I have said "I'm sorry" , I am guessing millions of times, and I didn't even factor in all of those confessions.

I wonder if a worlds fair were held today what would the "show -cases" be like , and what would the new inventions be?

I wish that I could have seen this fair. I have however seen pieces of it before at the Kansas museum of natural history. Located in Lawrence Kansas. Now keep in mind that this is "history", and not religion, and that the religious people of the day didn't approve of the dancers either, nor the beer drinking nor any other forms of vice that were at this exposition ,but crafty promoters figured out way's to work around all of the people that were an obstacle for them. Also it is said that this is the place for Americas first serial killer.

Animals that lie

In a New York Times article about the biology of deceit notes that among primates there's "a direct relationship between sneakiness and brain size." It offers this story:

After dolphin trainers at the Institute for Marine Mammals Studies in Mississippi had taught the dolphins to clean the pools of trash by rewarding the mammals with a fish for every haul they brought in, one female dolphin figured out how to hide trash under a rock at the bottom of the pool and bring it up to the trainers one small piece at a time. My cat is definitely capable of deception. Sometimes she'll pretend to be sleeping, but when you walk by her, Whack!, she gets you with her paw.

*Rocky our neighbors dog is pictured above. He travels a mile and a half almost every day to our home , then he follows our family members from outside - watching us through our windows. Changing windows as we change rooms. He barges into our home when the door is cracked open, and he runs over my children, and myself. He is the most emotionally needy dog that I have ever met. He can't get enough affection. Still the dog is very sweet, and he obeys some commands. He does kiss us on the lips so we have to cover our faces. I almost died when this happened to me. All I could think about were the petri dish cooties- on my own lips.

Home made soda.

New York will begin to tax soda, and breathing.

Well then, are you going to tax Kool - aid too? It's the same thing only without the fizz - If the taxes become too steep will people begin to circumvent the taxes by drinking water or by making their own soda? I don't think so.
Most people don't grow their own tobacco, and I don't understand why they don't. Making homemade cigarettes is a snap, and the cost in savings is unbelievable. I don't smoke , but I watched a man make his own cigarettes when I was a child, and as a teen I watched other teens roll their own cigarettes, but they weren't regular cigarettes ,and they were "Artists" so it was okay. ;)
I still wanna learn how to make homemade root beer. Did you know that root beer, and wintergreen flavorings are pretty much the same flavor?
