"Bad Girl Barbie" # 1 - We found this when Rose ,and I went Christmas shopping.

Here is the summer version of "Mattel's" - "Top Model" Barbie collection. Complete with short leather shorts, a teeny-tiny leather cinched waist, and some leather slouch boots. She has an extra set of floral printed leather pants along with a matching "Janet Jackson" black leather jacket . Perfect for your next super bowl party with those special somebodies. Her ensemble is embellished with chains on her purse, and around her neck to add that special finishing "biker babe" touch.
(Someone forgot to include the fashionable pocket dogie.)

*Dear Mattel, There is no way that I would EVER buy this crap for my child- NEVER EVER. Seriously - What in the hell is wrong with you people?
Even so -you know your "Barbie for President doll" can I still vote for her?

"What in the hell is wrong with you people?"

I just saw Tom Smykowski say this in an Office Space clip.

Hmmm, does it come with a "wardrobe malfunction" kit?

I know that someones been placing similar "style" in the girls clothing departments at most major department stores. (My MIL went shopping and was disgusted.) I just might be making a bunch of t-shirt dresses to revolt.

I hope you really do send Mattel a note. And that they listen. Because the only thing worse than Bad Girl Barbie is a Bratz doll.

Leo, my husband thought all of that malfunction stuff was an accident. I told Paul that when you spend several thousand dollars on an outfit. It is built not to malfunction unless it was intended to do so.

My Mom didn't like Barbie, and that was before she got trashy (Barbie, not Mom). Said she sent the wrong message to girls. I pleaded with her to have one, and she said, "Oh, all right, if you earn the money yourself." So I did ($3!). She was one of the originals, with a ponytail and curly bangs. Would be worth a lot of money if my little sisters hadn't played with her kind of rough.

Bratz dolls - the receptionist at work and her friend in evil were commenting on a news item that Bratz dolls were being phased out because mattel was suing over copyright infringement. The girls were then conspiring to buy up remaining dolls and sell on E-Bay for profit. I don't know how true the report is that Bratz are going out of business, but one can pray they are.

Hmm, well one can always look to the "wardrobe malfunction" as an accident as a way of coping and trying not to ascribe evil intent to the perpetrators. Unfortunately I have been around the legendary block one too many times in my sinful youth, so trying to look for an innocent rationale is something I rarely do - maybe I need to try harder.

My husband is so sweet natured. He always thinks the best of people, and that they are so much nicer than they really are. Surprisingly he's not full of despair ,and disappointment. If Jesus is as kind, merciful, and generous as my husband is then "I will be in" , and probably most everyone else will be too. Or maybe the Lord will just let him in.
