The Kansas City Union station houses - "Science City" which is a hands on science center for children.
Amtrak still runs out of Union station , they have an office , and a waiting room off to the side of the building. There are restaurants, and an Irish cultural spot, there is also an IMAX, and a little room off to another side for antique fire equipment. We only stayed here for about 30 minutes because Joseph wanted to see if there were any trains running. Our original destination was across the street to the WW1 war memorial.
