We are not defined by the quality of our things.
Thanks for a wintery morning in Appalachia!I now have a craving for biscuits and gravy. It's true we're not our things. And after watching 3 hours of Housewives of Orange County and Million Dollar Listing on Bravo! last night, I needed this wonderful film.
Me too Lola, I love a simple life and I love biscuits and sausage gravy. I thought that this video had undertones of eugenics; you know maybe your too poor to breed but your really not smart enough to know better. I love the children and how happy they were. They had food and they had shoes. If your loved, happy, warm and fed then Stuff really doesn't matter. Happiness really is a state of mind don't you think? Besides I believe affluenza left unchecked damages souls. Isn't it weird Lola that some would like or dislike you based on what you own?
Oh Belinda, I live in an Uppity neighborhood.I basically never leave me house. And, yes more than once I've heard in polite conversation those sort of remarks about who's 'fit' to have children. And, more than abuse, it's a situation of lack of money. I could scream.
