Church people

I've been elected to be the new PTO president of our children's school.
You know what comes next don't you?
Someones gonna get flash fried.
(It's gonna be me. I just know it.)
*Disclaimer- Nuke jokes are never funny and neither are church people.

It's gonna hurt!!! It's gonna hurt!!!

"It's gonna hurt!!! It's gonna hurt!!!" You've got that right!
Seriously, your people made a good choice. I know you'll make a great president!

Aww, Thanks Melody!

Say, do you know anything about wound care or treating infectious bites? How about trauma , oops I mean drama. It sounds like you might know a little something about drama - as a recipient of course.

I added hahahacry to the google dictionary do you think anyone will notice?

Vince, I don't know where your comment has gone.

Here's what happened. I'm minding my own business and I'm upset over something that had happened at school and I heard that little voice in my head- not the crazy one but the one thats not nice to me and makes me do stuff when all of a sudden I thought... "Your going to be the new PTO president." Naturally I laughed because I haven't been to a PTO mtg since 1992 (shhhhh) I told my husband what had happened and then- I'm not kidding a woman called on the phone an hour later and said that someone nominated me to be the pres but I told her no, I don't know how, I'm like Obama - not qualified, but my husband said in with his stern outdoor voice- indoors... "If God told you to do it then you had better do it." (Geese, thanks for your support, haha) So I said FINE I sat back and waited knowing no one would vote for me.

Then last Friday a lady called and said , you won by a land slide, I said, yeah, okay , thanks a lot. It's a three year term and the first year is training. WHAT?

Why is God making me do this.. I told him no several times. He has no respect for my "no." He didn't factor in my anxiety even a little.

Thanks to all of my blogger buddies who have helped me to communicate better with people and to come out into the light hahaha. Like Dracula hahaha. You have all been a blessing to me in many ways.

Congratulations Belinda!

And, I was just going to ask you about how to deal with 'church people'. Seriously.

ROFL!!!! First of all, it feels very wrong calling you Belinda, so I think I'll stick with Mrs Paul.
Mrs Paul, you are a wonderful, caring, respectful, brave, good Catholic woman, and you are going to do GREAT things!
Its the truth, and if that doesn't make you feel any better, then this truth should...
"When you're at the bottom, there's no place to go but up"...and honey, St Pauls is that the bottom =) hahahacry
