Our Children

We're counting down the last remaining days until our little angels have to return to school.
Their squabbling has been too much and they've worn their parents out.
We've been through a lot this summer having had  no air conditioner
and a couple of unsuccessful coupe attempts - for real and speaking for myself I've had enough.

Good morning Belinda. Just found your blog and love the brain at the top. Great choice. What a summer to be without A/C. My daughter had that same problem a month ago. It is always great to have the kids around but there is something about the quiet time when they are in school too. You are welcome at my site any time. http://odielangley.blogspot.com and email is odie@qualityofficeequipmentinc.com Have only been at this a couple of months but am enjoying myself. Have a great day.

Sorry to hear about the A/C. You're welcome to use our pool anytime.

I'm not to worried about the start of school--my oldest Grandbabie will be going, but the other two won't.

On the other hand, I'm spending a week holed up by myself, just to escape the hubbub!

I'm with you sister.

I just don't know where to send them.

God Bless you Belinda.

Thank you Mr.Odie, Glad you could visit. I've noticed my blog (Me)getting a bit grouchy. I will hopefully regain my humor when the kids return to school.

Mr.Cliff, I'd love to stop by for a swim however my natural brown hair would turn orange..(Pool chemicals + Naturally colored hair ;) = ugly) Thanks for the offer though :) Can I just send the kids? hahaha

Red, skip Walmart this week and next 'cause the kids getting supplies with their battle fatigued mothers = headache for you throughout the store.

Lola, I may need for you to pat my back and tell me I'm special. I'm worn out. I'll bring snacks... How far away do you live from me? (Kansas)
I'll pray for you and you please pray for me today. :)

Here, they have stil all the month of August on holidays. I think it's too much to go to school in the heat of August.

Here in Australia the school holidays are more spread out I think.

We have two weeks off between each term and then only 6 weeks for summer.

I think if children have too long a break, they tend to get restless and argue more. I find by the end of the six weeks break over summer that we are all ready to get back into school routine.

Belinda,

Oh honey if only we could get together.

I'm in Florida. But it appears to be cooler here than in the Midwest.

I'll send you a pat right now, but I've been praying for you since I read this post and before that the AC post.
