An artistic rendition of self deception.

Just because you've molded and shaped the God of your mind and imagination into a God who agrees with your line of thinking and beliefs doesn't really make him God at all but an extension of yourself, someone who you've created in your own image, but sadly while your playing mind games, the real God sits and waits, and he waits for you alone..

And you can tell that he is just a God of your imagination when someone challenges your creation and you say, "Well, those are just your ideas of God; they're no better and no worse than mine."

Is that Joe Smith?

Lola, yeah, I think so, but I had in mind all of the people I know who have expressed to me their vision of God which is some sort of shadow of who he really is. It happens ALL of the time where he's portrayed as some sort of self gratifying, and edifying God one who accepts anything and everything we do. It's a twisted theology and a lie and we know where lies come from.
