The really sad thing is that not only will the world want to devour us but so will a majority of our Catholic brethren, and because they know us and understand us, they will hurt us the most. They'll be some of our family members, people we love. We can see the groundwork being laid on social medias with the snide remarks I get from lukewarm or worse yet, adversarial Catholics who want to argue about every doctrine, and comment coming from the Vatican unless of course it fits their agenda. They are fueled by their hatred because Catholic authority is inflexible, which of course is correct and just. For church teaching to accommodate the winds of change would make it a fraudulent religion. Most of these young to nearing middle age adults act entitled or at the very least were made to feel special as children and of course, they were special because their parents only had one or two of them to throw all of their resources, financial and emotional into. This is where children learned about compromising and negotiating with authority. Their parents world revolved around the child, but that too was a fallacy because those kids were raised predominately by daycare, television, computers and liberal school systems. Authority figures make them feel uncomfortable and do you know what they will do with regulations or people who make them feel  uncomfortable? They will use legalism as they negotiate and legislate against people who still believe in the Holy Catholic church, out of existence as they had successfully done in 1973.

Failure to remain intact while steeped in sin? Go figure. And

when they call upon their spiritual Father for help, and

direction, who exactly comes?  Oh, and don't think for one

second some entity doesn't come. Remember, we are the

prize in this battle.

Our supreme court has openly mocked God. Our nation had

a chance before the court conspired to sin. It's the

united consenses that put America over the edge.

I'm terrified of what comes next,...when God plays his hand.

I dreamt Obama made this awesome speech and held everyone enthralled, but afterwards he went down to the basement with a piece of the wall from the building where he had just spoke. He handed it over to a worker who filed it with either plastics, metal, wood, etc for recycling.  Many more people, were joining him and before you knew it, they had stripped the place bare, but it was okay because he, and his loyal minion staff were virtuously recycling, all the while verbally building one another up with some people being so enamored with the president, and  holding him in such high esteem that they couldn't see that the building at some point is going to crush them and everyone else in the basement....

All the while I saw Michelle was trying her hand at modeling as she fancies herself a trendsetter.

*Restating the obvious, though it wasn't any less a nightmare.

I woke up early and said to the boy, "Hey, how are you this morning, what cha' doing on the computer?" He said, "I'm busy, I'm learning how to make my own fireworks."

Naturally, I exploded, because he refused to listen to reason. I'm gonna have to go all commando on the boy and scare him straight by showing him pictures of people who at one time also enjoyed working with explosives at munitions, and firework assembly plants.  It's a true tale of  pyrotechnics gone bad, we call these people with missing limbs Zombies. (Can't the boy just be satisfied with the thrill and excitement of playing catch with lawn darts?)  In the meantime, I'm locating, then hiding the matches

Joseph's folly

I woke up later than Joseph this morning and found a surprise in the bathroom, I asked him,"Why is there a box of kitchen matches in the bathroom, what have you been doing?" He said, "I needed them for my invention and you said I could use them. I said, "I don't remember telling you that you could use matches". He said, "Yes, you did, last night. " I needed them to light the fire for my steam boat invention in the bathtub because If the water isn't hot, it wont make steam and them my invention wont work!!....

What are the lessons I've learned from this? ... I've got to wake up before the boy and I need to hide the matches. Somebody should break it to the boy that excluding power plants, steam power has come and gone...

I've just finished my steam punk viewfinder mobile. I made it from scrap metal parts, nuts, bolts, hot glue, copper wire, viewfinders, viewmaster reels and cherry red paint. Three of my children have complained that I should have only used  antique view finders -I would have but they're expensive.

I've begun to think about my next project as I collect scrap metel pieces.
Art projects are the sweetest waste of time.

William Blatty, author of the 1970's light hearted flick, "The Exorcist," has filed a lawsuit against Georgetown, a Jesuit run university because of their "Persistent scandals to the laity." (Who could we presume will give Mr.Blatty more legal headaches, Satan or the dissenting Jesuits? I predict it will be the Jesuits because Satan can be cast out in Jesus' name.) If the university loses this battle to Mr.Blatty, they will lose the right to call themselves a Catholic institution, no matter though, we're simply playing a game of semantics's, Georgetown has already lost their Catholic identity a while back and apparently when no one was looking. Anybody care for some pea soup?

Last night I had a dream about Lyndon Johnson who was standing like this in a woman's personal space at a dinner party. Apparently this was a technique he used as a form of intimidation though, I never knew this until I googled him. In my dream I wasn't asked to pray for him, but for the woman who's space he was intruding. I saw him laughing just like this while conspiring to sin though indirectly, which made me feel sick, queasy sick.......... So many people to pray for and so little time.

An uhappy meal

In the news, a prostitute works out a deal with an undercover cop for two double cheese burgers off of the value meal at McDonald's. At first I laughed until I got to thinking about the hypocrisy of the situation when I realized that women do this all of the time, as many have gone home with men who've simply bought them a drink at a bar or maybe even with men who've taken them out for a date then back to his place. Many people laugh at whores while they've done the very same thing only they called it dating. I suppose it's all about terminology. Pagans always blame Christians for their hypocrisy but really they're no better........ Then I reflect upon Christ who dearly loved the prostitute though he didn't think much of hypocrites.

*Above photo is of a couple on a blind date.

My son, the boy genius, walks into the house crying uncontrollably and Grace asked him, "What's wrong, what happened?" He said, "I,.......I.... (sniff, sniff) don't... wanna... talk about it!" She continued pressing him, "Why are you crying?..." He said, "I was running outside and.........and I....I.....stepped on a raaaaake." Then Grace started laughing uncontrollably and the boy replied, "Shuuuut uuuup." (Sniff, sniff) ..... my..... face huuurts."

Rick Santorum had been all over the news discussing his belief not only in Satan but also saying that Satan wants to destroy America. I happen to agree with him but I don't think Satan wants to destroy America alone. Satan would like to destroy everything within his realm, he's not that particular. The first epistle of Peter, Chapter 5, verse 8 tells us to Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:

...... that means us and without exception. Hurting your feelings or worse, mean nothing to him.

So... as a public service announcement I have posted actual hidden camera footage of Mr.Santorum inadvertently giving Satan a ride to a night club, where the prince of darkness regularly performs. As you can plainly see, Satan can and has transformed himself into a woman oodles of times over the centuries, in particular to celibate monks and priests, fully naked, and screaming up and down the halls of their abbeys while they try to catch some sleep. Can you say opportunistic?

My son....."Mom your viewmaster projector is smoking and it smells like fire."
Me..........." It's just the lightbulb burning off the dust inside of the projector. That's the smell of fun!"...... Whiff, whiff!

If my son, "The bat boy" ends up in the principals office again tomorrow, I will be livid. The little mutant needs to comply with authorities and do his school work with respect and courtesy for others. My son is a mini version of my father... The perils of the genetic lotto.

Obama has taken away some of my religious freedom and caused distress to our Catholic bishops, professional medical personnel and hospitals. These faithful Catholics are not only my brethren in Christ but people who I have great love and affection for. I understand that most people use and enjoy the benefits of birth control and I don't bother you but consider me, the minority who doesn't and if it's okay to coerce and manipulate a minority of people because a majority agrees with Obama consider the implications for other groups of people. I believe birth control to be a sin and though I don't expect anyone else to agree with me, the issue now becomes my religious rights and if today it's okay and even popular to stamp out my rights, tomorrow it may be yours.

During our Christmas break the weather in Kansas has been wonderful for difficult work. The soil and rocks that I collected could be handled in the afternoons after the soil had warmed up and the rocks were no longer frozen together.

I built the fire pit first  then I made a wheel chair accessible sidewalk. The next thing I plan on making is a rock patio around the pit and when spring arrives  I'll cement it all together and fill in all of the potential snake holes. I would also like to make a small rock wall as some sort of a table to put our things on while we cook over the fire. I will have my kids help repaint the benches and chairs then put some sort of plants out. I'm also going to spruce up their tree house (In the background) for safety sake.

I don't know what kind of plants to buy, I'm a terrible gardener -as you can plainly see.
In the process, I hope this will be a good family project as I teach my youngest children how to cook over an open fire using a dutch oven and little else while my activity director tells his usual fibs about the gypsies who once roamed our forest.
