This cemetery consists of two acres smack dab in the middle of the city of westwood village and is surrounded by towering sky scrappers. It took my activity director two tries on separate days to find the place because of it's odd seclusion.

Eddy Arnold is buried next to his wife Margo and also his friend Eva Gabor. Eddy lived to be 99 years old.

Bride of the monster, Loretta King

Don Knotts

Truman Capote

Heather O' Rourke

It's believed that Heather haunts stage 19. (I didn't see her but then again, I wasn't looking for her either.) They say she  runs and plays on the cat walks.

Stage 19

Hugh Hefner plans to be buried next to Marilyn Monroe and has purchased the spot on the left. With Hef pushing 86, I'm thinking it could be any day now.  Many women have kissed Marilyn's crypt but I don't understand why people touch  tombstones.  It seems so disrespectful.

Dean Martin
Why would a Catholic choose to be buried in a non -Catholic cemetery?

Walter Matthau and his wife Carol.

I really want to keep my gossiping in check and so I'm not trying to encourage you to participate in my sins when I post these photos. I know it's really tempting because of the kinds of lives these people led but where ever they are now, they're  paying for every decision they had made during their lives and they need our prayers.

 Elizabeth Taylor's dress.

Brangelina clothing.

Darned, dirty apes.
Here's what happens when Chuck doesn't run fast enough.

Cheap plastic.

Expensive plastic - on the left.
(Photo for my Kate.)

Cher had/has a teeny tiny waist and  is 5' 8-1/2" tall.

"The Roddy McDowell powder room." - Located in the Max Factor museum.

Elizabeth Taylor's dress.

Pamela Anderson's bay watch swimsuit is so large on top that the museum staff  had to stuff the bodice with tissue paper- and rather poorly I might add.  I assure you, no one gives David Hasselhoff's clothing a second glance because your transfixed on Miss Anderson's suit and not in a creeper kind of way but in amazement, - how'd she keep those things up?
Now, I understand why "Babe watch" was so popular.

The teen who wore this was shockingly small.

Lucille Ball's makeup drawer at the Max Factor museum, Hollywood California.

Max Factors stage makeup -inside of this pink display case in the front lobby - one of three display cabinets.

Some of Marilyn Monroe's personal items and a few locks of her hair.  Below is a copy of the coroners report but the thing that made me sad - and still does, is the blank spot where it mentions her religion.

When you die, will people know what religion you were?

Inside of another display case and you can see they're old and worn.

Max Factors stage makeup. (There's a bottle of fake blood behind the yellow bottle which my son thought was cool.)

Judy Garlands child hood dresses. Poor baby.

Judy Garlands dress.

Max had rooms just off of the lobby where he would greet his clientel' and apply their makeup. The rooms were segregated by red heads, brunettes, blonds, and raven hair.

Max Factors cootie  beauty salon.

What do you think Max used the permanent artistic oils for?

Mr.Max, doing his thang.
(I failed to take a photo of this machine I saw tucked away in a corner.)
