You may ask yourself, "Sin, same as it ever was"?

When you contemplate your sins- Do you break out in a cold sweat? Do you become twitchy, or spastic? I know I do. You may want to ask yourself , am I right?......am I wrong?
And you may tell yourself - "My God ! ,WHAT HAVE I DONE ? When this happens , know that Confession is the remedy.

Well - here you are again. You disappeared from my Facebook page. Did I do something to offend you?

This confessional reminds me of the one I go to when I am in Las Vegas. I like going to confession in Las Vegas, there is something about that that I like. But you have to get in line quick because the lines get full fast. But it's Las Vegas. What i find troubling is that I see more people in confession lines in Las Vegas than I do most places. But any way I like the double whammy confessionals where you wait until the door slides open and in Las Vegas you have to tell your sins quick because there is a lot of it going around and the priest needs to get it done. Go there sometime, Guardian Angel Cathedral, on the Strip and cathedral Way, Saturday afternoon 30 minutes before Mass. Then stay for Mass, it is nice and the cantors are great.

Dang, I have to agree with Adrienne, your on then your off then your on. You blog then you dont then you blog...come on sister make up the ole noggin.

My outake on confession, you have to know that it is a sin, it has to be grey matter and you have to have willful knowledge when you comit the act. So in my own personal layman terms. It is either right or wrong, you have to know right or wrong, if it is wrong and you know it is wrong it is a sin. GO to confession, confess and the whole world becomes sunny and easy to live in again. God knows that we are going to sin, God knows that we will fail many many times, this is why he gave us such a beautiful sacrament. Myself, it has to be pretty important to miss confession, because everyone needs a clean soul, heart and mind if you want to continue with the graces of God. I am new to the Catholoic Church, my sister (Belinda) nudged me to this direction. And I have found a new home. I do not have hope in people, I have hope in God and where he wants to take my life. I can guarantee that my life has been hell, and he brought me back from hell and has given me the graces that I need to to live and to do his will, and to be fruitfull with new relationships and new familys that I come across within the Church. I have not seen my sister in over 13 years in person if not more. I have not seen my Parents in almost 11 years. I know abandonment, I know pain, but God has shown me Mercy, love and the Catholic church. This will be my home forever. I sleep at my house, but my heart is at the church all day everyday. I know that I will never be abandoned again as long as I do Gods will....CONFESSION is doing his will....Anyway this is my opinion....Thanks be to God now and forever....Oh yeah...I am being confirmed on 110808, I will not have my family on earth present, but I will have all the Saint and my Lord Jesus, so it will be a packed house....

It's clear to me Leo, that your life is way more exciting than mine. My husband went to Vegas a couple of years ago. He had to go on business. He went to view the "test site". Why I wondered isn't it just a big toxic hole? Much like Vegas ?
I forget that there may be christians living ,and working there , and women that need our prayers.
I told my husband that I would never go to Vegas. My luck would be that, that would be the exact day that God said ENOUGH!!! I am serious - sin scares me.

Exciting? I guess if the confessionals are the highlight of one's business trips to Las Vegas. Not that I drink (blech) or gamble (I em 2 cheep) but it's fun getting in the confession line there, there is just something about confession in Sin City. It is just what our future holds for us, like poor old Lot and his kin, we just have to wait until He sends the angels to get us out. Till then, eyes front and stay out of the casinos. And when the time comes, don't turn back to cash in your chips.
