Poor Adrienne, she can't get her artificial tree out from her shed this year because the snowfall is too deep.
This is my favorite "Christmas tree" ,
I tell our children that "Christmas is not about the tree" .
Joseph thinks that it's about the presents. I must look for my "Charlie Brown tree stand " I would like to put that tree up... today!

How about sending me a Christmas Mass too?? I know I shouldn't get greedy but it's looking like we won't get to Mass on Christmas Eve or Christmas day. We just got dug out for today and it's starting up tomorrow for up to 10" and another gazillion or 2 on Christmas Day.
Our pastor lives right next door and I have advised him to go sleep in the church office, which he will probably do. No priest - no Mass for anyone.
We're being prudent and making sure we have lots of candles, incense (always) and EWTN on our computers. That may have to do.
I am actually having the best Christmas that I have ever had. I suppose that statistically it was bound to happen at some point.
I am sorry that you will be missing Mass I know how wonderful Mass is -especially at Christmas time.

I think we've figured out someone to come to the culdesac and pick us up. We can walk out our road and his big truck should be able to get down the paved part of the road...
