Modern day mortification - For breakfast.

Health food posing as something really great. This is the worst kind of deception- if your a kid.

Cherry pomegranate might not be bad, but since it's health food they probably didn't sweeten it. Kind of a Lenten pop-tart.

Hahaha, a lenten poptart !!

I tossed around the idea of buying these in my head for a minute or two, then I realized how dissapointed our children would have been so I didn't buy anything.
With the last "off brand tarts" that I bought Kate said , "Mom, these things don't look as good in person as they do on the box." I said, "I know nothing ever does."
I used to serve mostly "health foods" now quite frankly I don't care anymore. I think "just eat it and move along" - Like the Army !!

Gosh Melody, the frosting probably isn't real either. It's just some egg protein whip with cream of tartar added to harden it.
Yum, I will have to spend 10 dollars on a box of 4 tarts just to taste and see.
