"It's happening".

Hokey as heck, but I loved the movie, "Signs". Joaquin Phoenix was wonderful in that film.

I didn't use to believe in this kind of stuff but I believe in people and some people are convinced they've seen something. I know some people lie but I think most people dont because the ridicule factor is too great. That's why most Catholics never publish the stuff God tells them. God tells his people things but by repeating something your putting yourself "out there"

I believe in the word of God and where it is written-

Matthew 16:3 And in the morning: Today there will be a storm, for the sky is red and lowering. You know then how to discern the face of the sky: and can you not know the signs of the times?

Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, by reason of the confusion of the roaring of the sea and of the waves;

Mark 13:22 For there will rise up false Christs and false prophets, and they shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce (if it were possible) even the elect.

BTW, I saw a meteor or something fall from the sky once. It was cool because it was on fire and it sounded as a fire does when it rapidly consumes oxygen. It could have been a rock the size of my fist. Who knows.

Western Kansas is known for being a great place to find meteorites. Men will take their metel detectors out to the fields and dig em up then resell them. For some reason many of the rocks are metal based or something like that.

Belinda,

I would love to see a meteor, and comets thrill me to no end.
My husband is an astronomer. He actually is one of those "talking heads" who explain things sometimes on the Discovery Channel.
I asked him to buy me a little telescope for Christmas a couple of years ago. It's kind of a pain for him, because I always need him to set it up correctly and tell me what I'm looking at. He works with the Space Telescope, so it's kind of like asking Lance Armstrong to ride a tricycle.

How cool is your husband!?!
I would love to pick his brain.

(In Kansas that means I would ask him a lot of questions. hahaha I'll bet you knew that:)

What does he think these things are? Do tell I really want to know!

He just got back from Italy and hadn't heard about the "mystery lights".He doesn't watch the news.
His specialty is galactic structure, specifically how galaxies are formed,and much of the time doesn't seem that much interested in what's going on in our own. Lol.
