(15) The Lower Pool, Where Solomon Was Annoited (missspelling)King, and
the Market of Gihon, Jerusalem, Palestine
Copyright 1903, by William H. - (I can't read the last three letters)
and on the back of the card-
The lower Pool, Where Solomon was Anointed King , and the Market of Gihon.
The so called pools of Solomon are three in number and are situated in a small valley which descends abruptly towards the east. The lower pool is the finest of the three. It is 194 yards long, 49 yards wide at one end and about 69 yards wide at the other, and averages about 45 feet in depth. It is partly hewn out of the rock and partially lined with masonry. Stairs are supported by numerous buttresses. The pools are, therefore, great reservoirs. From the lower end of the lower pool, as may be noticed in our stereographing, issues an aqueduct which was once connected with another coming directly from the fountain, and which wound along the hillside by Bethlehem to the city of Jerusalem. These pools , especially the lower, are well calculated to give us a high idea of the engineering skill of the ancient people of Jerusalem, whether or no(t) the pools actually date back to the time of Solomon. Our view also presents a not uncommon sight in the Holy land of a market or more properly what we would call a fair. The excellent water supply of the surrounding country makes this one the available spots for such a congregation.

Close Vincenzo!! But no waffles.
I will re-read this and try to make my brain understand it. It's gonna be a struggle.
Thank you so much for trying!
My blog would suck worse than it does if you hadn't helped me figure this posting stuff out.
In fact another blogger pointed that out to me the other day. hahahahaha

"My blog would suck worse than it does if you hadn't helped me figure this posting stuff out."
no no no no no - you're a genius!
What about this one?
Eureka!!! I think you've got it! Now you have to share the secret!!
I'm making my children help clean our home today. I will tell them there are people in this world who think I'm a genius. I'm positive they'll be impressed.
This time I sped it up and fixed something else. I think that the effect looks better for objects or people that were closer to the camera.
I cut out the first frame, saved it as a .gif file. Then cut out the second frame, the same size and lined up w/ the first, saved as a .gif file.
Then uploaded the two .gifs here:
http://www.image-tools.com/Animated-GIF-Generator-Tool.php
I set it to loop (0), and both frames to 1 milisecond.
