The Court Jester

Joe Biden was at Hooters last week. Oh, I wish I could have been there because you can't find that kind of comedy gold just any ol' where.

I'm blogging through a migraine- but not very well,... though, who can tell the difference?
~~~~~
What concerns me the most about the royal wedding is,"Who's watching Elton Johns baby?! Clearly Mr.John has decision making deficiencies.  I'm so concerned! I hope it's not Dame Edna. How much do you think Elton pays a sitter anyway? Ugh,... look at that photo,...  that poor baby!   I think I'd crap my pants too.
~~~~~
I noticed the Queen doesn't sing, "God save the Queen" but Elton sang it.
~~~~~
If the royal couple has been living together for a few years now, why is it that William finally decided to buy instead of lease and why do women freely give away something which is so prized by men?  Maybe Big Ben had reminded Kate of something,..... tick, tock, tick, tock.
~~~~~
If the royals are the head of the church of England, why do they appear to behave more like sinners than saints?
~~~~~
About Beatrice's hat,... if you  can't say something nice then I shouldn't say anything at all but why doesn't her father take out his sword and hack some of that masterpiece  back somewhere to the normal zone. I noticed he can't even look at her. I bet they collectively blame her mother. (Someone is projecting- sang in a melodic tone.. hahaha)
Migraine + codeine =  Your way funnier when my anxiety disappears.
Mass was crowded  so I had to sit in the opposite pew across the isle from my blog administrator. I love it when he winks  at me but who could tell if he was winking with his eye swollen shut? I winked back at him anyway and after mass he said the man sitting beside him thought I was winking at him. Maybe I was. Actually I was thinking about Padre Pio because I had the privilege of sitting next to a man who had served mass for Saint Pio.
I thought, "I should  ask this man that if he would happen to die before me, if he could please tell Padre Pio thank you for all of his intersessions and prayers on our behalf and then give Padre a hug for me, I'm so grateful." But because my pew pal is frail  and has trouble walking, I thought I 'd better leave him alone to go about his business.  I'd hate to be the cause of a fall or maybe my comment -about the dying part, might insult him. I walked away sad because I didn't get to speak with him, though God must have told Pio what I was thinking  because later that evening Gracie handed a gift to me and  said, "Our deacon gave this to me and told me to give it to my mom."  It was a rosary in a box with Padre Pio's photo on top," It was the picture of Padre giving a blessing.
 I'm gonna wink at God, do you think he'll notice? I love it when he winks back at me.
Dear God, check inside the Japanese lunch box, third drawer from the top but try and guess what's in it first. Maybe you could act surprised.
Dear God,
 I was wondering if you would consider making me a member of the Detroit Spinners and even though I'm a really, really white woman (practically translucent in fact) from Kansas and I have no rhythm or musical abilities  -what so ever , but not just a regular Spinner ( hidden in the back row), I wanna be the lead singer of the Detroit Spinners! I love their sound, demeanor, and their  outfits - a lot in fact. I love everything about them and as the presiding Spinner  I will draw attention to myself  and make it mostly all about me so as to raise awareness about the Spinners and to convert others  to the Spinners message  of love , peace, and perfect timing throughout  the world . Keep in mind dear God, that  I need  I wont take no for  an answer rather quickly because I'm not getting any younger. I do however,  have a few slight demands requests to make, small demotions, reductions, devaluations of their work, time and talent, which will essentially render the group worthless when I'm finished  ideas really, stuff no one would probably ever notice and would in fact enjoy if they did!
# 1 -  We could have puppets during the show, who doesn't love giant puppets?  Wait, that's been done before, ummm......... we could have clowns, mimes or finger puppets!
# 2-  I could dress like Toni Tennille and the men could wear sailor hats.  Keep  in mind  Lord, that I know all of the words to "Midnight train to Georgia."  -Just in case.
# 3-  I would ban all dancing at Spinner concerts, particularly on stage.  I'm uncomfortable about being rhythmically challenged , besides, I can't dance and sing at the same time.
# 4 -  I'm gonna have to ban the "fro" because I can't grow one.
# 5- I want to slow the songs waaaay down to be more inclusive and I'll eliminate any sad lyrics.
Lord, when I'm finished the Spinners will be unrecognizable and only a shadow of what they once were - great!
Dear God, If you should decide not to allow me to become a Detroit Spinner then would you at the very least make me a Soul Train line dancer?  Maybe, an Isley brother, Dear God, or a Temptation? Who doesn't  love Smokey Robinson!
 I've got some terrible terrific  ideas about those groups   because I can't let go of pretending to be something that I'm not nor ever will be so I'm going to make everyone else around me as miserable as I am  as well!
Love,
Don't you  hate it when people ruin   the things   you love  the most?
Dear Mother of Mercy,
I am dedicating my blog to you. I'm pretty fed up with it and I'm ready to "chuck it".  I'm at a loss as to which direction to take it. Let me know what you intend do with it and how it goes. As you know Monday is my cooking day and I will be spending the entire day cooking for the week and then tackling those sewing and ironing projects. I will be off-line but I'm totally okay with you filling in. Lord knows you'll do a much  better job than I can and your catechises will be dead on.
Please pray for me and our family dear mother and please consider the Novena we finished on behalf of Elizabeth.
